The Patriarch receives Metropolitan of Meteora at the head of a delegation at the Patriarchate

Damascus, August 27, 2024

Patriarch John X received Metropolitan of Meteora Theoklitos at the head of a delegation of the Abbots of the monasteries and monks of Meteora in Greece at the Patriarchate in Damascus. The following Reverend bishops were also present : Romanos (Al Hannat), Moussa (Al Khoury), Arsenios (Dahdal), Moussa (Al Khasi), and Archimandrite George Yacoub, Abbot of the Patriarchal Monastery of Balamand.

During the delegation’s visit to His Beatitude, the Metropolitan of Meteora took the relics of Saint John Chrysostom and Saint Panteleimon, the Healer to offer blessing.
